Anita Sullivan

Anita Sullivan is a writer. Her widely varied work typically has a sociopolitical awareness exploring connections between past and present. She has a keen interest in site-specific shows. She has had 40+ plays either staged or broadcast, many with revised productions and tours. Several have won awards and has had over 16 hours of drama broadcast on BBC Radio 4 (not including repeats!).  Commissioned by theatre companies as diverse as the Royal Shakespeare Company, Plymouth Theatre Royal, Pop-Up children’s theatre, Grid Iron and Part Exchange Co site-specific companies she has taken part in projects with The Performing Arts Lab, the Scottish Mask and Puppet Centre, TAG theatre company, Channel Four Film Challenge, Welfare State International and The Working Party.
