Thomas Buttery is a co-founder of Prymedia and audio-visual artist at Limbic Cinema, he has a background in documentary film-making but experiments in the world of ‘expanded cinema’ where elements such as performance, location and physical objects play a part in supporting a film narrative and the overall experience of an audience. Thom presented his live-scored documentary Tri Hita Karana within a 360 geodesic dome as part of the Cultural Olympiad 2012, and has had video art pieces showcased in London, Istanbul, Paris and Kuala Lumpur. His latest Installation Khmer Passages is a multi-layered installation exploring the post-conflict Cambodian identity and was exhibited as part of the South East Asian Arts Festival in London.
