A computer scientist turned creative technologist and principal at  He has a PhD in Computer Science and a BA in Mathematics. He has been visiting professor at the University of Bath and at ITU Copenhagen. He has over a decade’s experience of industrial R&D in pervasive computing, including 4 years in Silicon Valley and 4 years recently working as an independent, with film makers, theatre companies and other arts partners as clients. His current business focus is the development of apps for phones coordinated together, in particular Nth Screen, which synchronises videos across them. He writes in his spare time.

Tim is a creative collaborator on the Engine House’s seed idea, Future Tourist.
