Tom Lumen

Tom Lumen [aka Newell] is an Audio / Visual artist. He moved to Bristol after completing an MA in Interaction Design which sent Tom off on the path of discovering and creating digital art. He began VJing for local club nights around Bristol and after 2 years he had landed VJ slots for Glastonbury’s Dance Village, The Big Chill, Greenman and many other UK festivals. He has created audio/visual projection mapped installations for Bristols’ M shed, The Tobacco Factory, London Design week, Alphaville digital arts festival and Pictoplasma animation festival in Berlin. Career highlights include projecting on the Roman baths for Illuminate Bath Festival and creating the video pieces for Part Exchange Co’s ‘Drive in Deco’. Lumen is currently touring a live A/V show with Hidden Orchestra.

He will be collaborating with a writer on Engine House’s seed idea, Sentient City.
